he spanish Ana Carrasco declared this Wednesday, during the presentation of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 with which she will compete in the Supersport 300 World Championship, which she won in 2018, "this year will not be easy, that's for sure", after the spinal injury suffered by the last year, which kept her inactive for a long time and for which she had to undergo surgery.

"I am happy to be back. For me and for the team it has been a few and difficult months. Just being here is a good step," said Carrasco, who last September suffered a double vertebra fracture after falling for a few training at the Estoril circuit (Portugal) and that forced her to undergo surgery. Carrasco, who presented her motorcycle on the main straight of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, added: "I think the preseason has gone very well despite the long period I have been standing.

"This year will not be easy, that's for sure. The first races will not be easy at all, coming back from an injury and not competing for so long. I think that with this team we will be able to be competitive again soon. The goal is to be on the podium as soon as possible." said the Murcian rider of the Kawasaki Provec team.

The Supersport 300 World Championship begins between May 21 and 23 at the Motorland Aragón, in Alcañiz (Teruel).
