Ni una de Menos- A New Worldwide feminist movement
Ni una de menos is a Worldwide movement that was born in Argentina in 2017 and fast spread across the USA and Europe, in countries like Spain, Poland and Italy involving a total of 59 countries around the world. This movement connects the typical feminist fight for women's rights and against the violence agains women with the widest issues of human life, like precarity in work, xenofoby, racism, disability and LGBT rights, creating a project of transformation of life and world, giving a feminist perspective. It's a movement that involves women (and even men) from all ages, social conditions creating so the one is called intersectional making it different from old vision of feminism. At beginning of feminism movement in 70's women were not united all together, they created different groups and they fought their own causes (white women/ black women/ lesbians / transgender) without mind the gender and their common point of view but only caring about the differences. The movement of Ni una De Menos could be described with a term: Intersectional feminism. the term was developed from the accademic and activist Kimberlè Williams Creenshaw; with the purpose to describe the overlapping of different identities and social dynamics. This means exclusion can happen in different forms, like sexism, racism, homophobia and transphobia, and even if they look like different kinds of discriminations of our life, they're interconnected. From this the awarness that feminism is not the battle of groups of women, but becomes a battle of everyone for a fair and inclusive society. Ni una de menos promotes the holding of all reality and issues trying to bring women outside the dues that society, fashion and mass media give us, freeing us from the roles society gives us. This is not a old movement full of angry women that hates men. It's joyous, coloured, and mixed one, full of stories and experiences that bring us to the ancient times where women were used to treat each others like sisters and allyed instead enemies and rivalries.
