WAREHOUSE TWENTY 2

There they are!

The two gorgeous owners of the place. Mariah the American blonde on the left and Alice the British brunette on the right.

The opening was Jan 9th 2016 but they used it before for birthday parties and their wedding reception.

It's an amazing place. On arrival the doorman welcomes us and opens our limo door. Yeahh we got to go by limo or we won’t be allowed to step in (giggles)

Then we have to walk through a yard to arrive to a warehouse iron door. We rang the bell, and walk in into a large and cozy area where people crowd and entertain in bunches rocked by DJ_TwYsTeD_TaM their resident DJ.

It's too nice in order to be said. Our readers got to go there.

This paper went there and enjoyed so much we started to go often. We also made some questions to Mariah and Alice. Listen to them:

Claire: Which were the main motivations that led you to open Warehouse Twenty 2? Mariah - Well I have been in the club business for a while now. I started off as a club manager then I ended up owning and running 3 other clubs all of which did very well. My first club was Chery's Rough Riders. So I guess you could say I always loved the club and dancing world but Warehouse Twenty 2 was Alice's idea so it's really her baby but we both own it 50/50. There is no harder worker than Alice. Alice - I managed a couple of clubs before and I just love to see people having fun and happy and so much the better if they can leave happy having had a great night & maybe won some cool prizes so it was a natural progression to open a club of our own. Claire: About the décor. Who did it? Alice - I have always loved clubbing at old warehouses in real life, they just seem to have a better atmosphere than purpose built clubs. So when I saw this layout at Ztudio 9 I just had to get it straight away. I then sat on it for almost 2 years during which time I did a LOT of remodelling and plucking up the courage to go for it and open. Claire: Whose idea was it to put the limo and the doorman? Alice - I have to take credit for that. I had the idea when I made our wedding venue, there was a limo at the wedding you clicked on which took you to another limo at Warehouse Twenty 2 where we held the reception so when we opened the club proper I thought it'd be cool for people to arrive in style so I left it there as the entry point. Claire: What were the main issues you faced in the beginning? - Alice - No real problems, emailing and organising all the sponsors and prizes takes a lot of time but funding is an ongoing issue as neither of us earn enough in real life to bankroll it so we rely entirely on raffle ticket sales to keep it going. Claire: In a few words tell me who are your guests and what are they looking at Warehouse Twenty 2? Mariah - Our guests are awesome, fun seeking, nice friendly people who just want a great time, friendly chat, some fun games & to get naked :) We try to involve everyone and make them all welcome. Claire: Now about you two. How long did you meet? How did you meet? - Mariah - We met in May 2014 at Mariah's club 'Club LiCious' but we didn't start dating until June the same year and we married on Feb 22nd 2015 Claire: When did you first start talking about opening the Club? Did you have another before? If yes, how was it the experience? - Alice - We had talked about opening many times since we started dating. By that I mean that it was Mariah saying we should open but me being too scared to, it was a big step :) But first Club LiCious closed and then Mariah's other club 'Club Disaster' closed. It was then that we started discussing it seriously and making real plans. Claire: Your present names are SoE_Alice4M_SK and SoE_Mariah4A_SK but short time ago your names were SoE_Alice_Mariah and SoE_Mariah_Alice. What happen? - Mariah - We formed our own small family with a few close, dear friends, at that time we added the SoE (Sisters of Eden) as a prefix but wanted each other's names in our own so we had the other's name AFTER ours. That caused people soooo much trouble knowing which was which so when we were asked to join SK (Sex Kittens) we decided to drop the other's full name and just kept the 4M (4 Mariah) and 4A (4 Alice) after our names.

Claire: Awww good to know (smiles). Tell me, how does time difference affects your marriage? How do you overcome difficulties? Alice - The time difference sucks big time! Luckily I have never needed much sleep so I stay up until 3 am most nights which is only 10 pm for Mariah. Once or twice a week I do have to have an early night and catch up on sleep though. But other than me getting tired and ratty sometimes we cope and Mariah always knows when I'm tired and sends me to bed :) Claire: Mariah you are a photographer in RLC. Tell me about your work, what you do and to whom? - Mariah - I offer a lot of services; I do photo shoots in my studio I also do weddings offering more than most do. For example my big package is only 150 rays and you get over 100 framed pics a slide show a video and 10 studio pics. Claire: I understand you were LiCious before. What drove you to your present status and family? Mariah - The LiCious family was (and still is) a lovely family and we were very happy and proud to be a part of it but I think we just needed to spread our wings and go it alone. We still love all the LiCious family dearly and we'll never forget our time with them. Claire: Alice, do you have other activities besides being Club Owner? Alice - I lovvvvve deco, I've made many additions and changes to all our properties, I built our wedding venue and I'm responsible for all the deco at Warehouse Twenty 2. I do have another business though 'The Prop Warehouse' (warehouse theme lol) where I'm building my stock almost daily. I offer custom pimping of props or off the shelf sales. To be honest I don't even mind if I don't get any sales, I just love making the standard props different ... and better of course. Apart from that I just love to party :) Claire: Mariah, do you have other activities besides being Club owner and Photographer? Mariah - I also make, sell and install bots. I'm also starting to learn how to make tattoos and thinking about getting into making and selling them as a business.

and that was it :)

Good luck and keep on the good work
