Mel, I love you. I remember the day we met, seems like yesterday but also feels like forever because you have become my everything. I was introduced to you and your family on Summer’s birthday. We were in a group chat and I thought you were the quiet one… LOL. Little did I know. But every time you did say something I ended up laughing and immediately was attracted to you. But, we were both involved with someone else at the time. Fate played a hand as we both became single simultaneously and ended up working in the same club…. You as a greeter; and me in the band. I remember our first kiss, I had fallen off the stage (I know… clumsy) right beside you and I kissed you before going back on stage. I knew at that moment that we were meant to be together. We started dating…. You were amazingly supportive, tender, loving, sweet and understanding… and on Sept 6, 2014 we committed ourselves to each other and haven’t looked back. That is 18 months ago today. We ARE meant to be together. The more I learn about you the deeper my love grows. You lift my spirit every moment I spend with you… you bring me joy and happiness in all times. You are an incredible friend, have a strong and resilient soul, extremely intelligent, independent, an amazing lover, compassionate, have a sweet and kind personality and make me laugh continuously. Most of all you make me feel wanted, loved and appreciated. You make me want to be a better person and you give me the strength to move mountains. Your generosity to others is unmatched in RLC. It is why everyone loves you (and why you have been a Bridesmaid 10 or more times)… that can’t be faked… it’s sincere and easily recognizable. What you achieved as a child growing up, the responsibilities you took upon yourself are nothing short of amazing. I respect you so much for becoming who you are through all of the adversity you faced. I am your biggest fan, stalker and cheerleader. I love you for who you have been, who you are and who you will become. You have no limits as to what you can become or achieve… you can accomplish any goal you set because you have the intelligence, the fortitude and the personality to achieve the impossible. Us. You and I have been “us” for over a year. You and I are confident enough to let ourselves be who we are without restrictions. That takes a lot of trust in us and each other. How do we do that? By knowing what’s in each other’s hearts…. Love... Through all the craziness that is RLC, we know that our love for each other is imprinted on our hearts and will sustain us through anything that is thrown our direction.
